- Round out accounts with Green Tree Risk Partners, our in-house brokerage, for Workers’ Compensation placement solutions
- Work with any licensed insurance professional — that means no contracts or appointments required. There are no premium or volume commitments.
Below are some tools and guides to help you submit your applications, understand our appetite and connect with PLM.
Welcome to Woodbury
Woodbury is a fictional town we’ve created to help you identify the variety of wood businesses that may be found in your local communities: lumberyards, woodworking shops, hardware stores, light manufacturing operations, sawmills and building material dealers.
Explore Woodbury to discover what wood operations might be in your own neighborhood and how PLM can help you serve these clients. By clicking on the icons, you will learn more about the specific businesses we insure in the wood industry and the specialized resources we provide for their unique risks.

PLM’s Business Development Staff differentiates us from other carriers
Each of our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) service their own marketing territory, allowing them to understand the specific business environment and risk exposures in their area. Our BDRs are able to identify new opportunities and establish relationships with customers, prospects, local associations and brokers in their regional territories.
BDRs solicit new business opportunities and partner with the insured’s broker of choice. Since we’re an open-brokerage market, we can transact business with any licensed producer. Beyond the solicitation of new business opportunities, the BDR pre-inspects all new business submissions to ensure an account fits our underwriting appetite, meets our loss control guidelines, and follows our minimum automobile standards. The BDR also calls on our existing customers working in a consultative manner to assist them in operating a safer business.
