Spotlight On: Sheila Gjevre Named Rising Star by HBSDealer
As a mutual insurer dedicated to protecting lumber and building material businesses throughout the country, PLM strives to be a valued member of the industry. This goes beyond simply attending events or providing risk management counsel. We aim to be a visible contributor and partner to our industry’s associations and to the lumber industry as a whole. We are proud to share the award recognition of one of our people, Sheila Gjevre, named a 2024 Rising Star by HBSDealer.
The HBSDealer Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply program recognizes leaders and future leaders in the industry. Their mission is to celebrate the remarkable women who have gone above and beyond in their work supporting their teams and communities to shape the future of the hardware and building supply industry.
Sheila was named as one of the 2024 Class of Rising Stars for the positive influence she has on her customers, co-workers, and the industry. She is always finding new ways to stay involved by attending tradeshows, making frequent visits to insureds’ locations, and building relationships along the way. These relationships contribute greatly to her own success as well as the wider success of PLM.
As a Business Development Consultant for PLM, her primary responsibility is to serve as the local trusted advisor to our prospects and customers through consultative services on insurance and risk management. She is passionate about building relationships with her customers and brokers in her territory. She frequently meets with her customers to go over the different aspects of their business to help identify any potential risks or gaps in coverage, while educating them on ways to keep their business safe.
We are proud of the recognition of Sheila as it demonstrates her commitment and value to both our customers and to the hardware and building supply industry.
