PLM Announces Several Board Changes Including Two New Board Members
In April, PLM proudly announced several major changes to the board of directors.
First, PLM would like to congratulate Harvey E. Kroiz, a member of the board for 36 years, on his retirement. PLM also is pleased to share the addition of two new, accomplished board members, Andrew Winn and James Jolinger.
Harvey E. Kroiz started his career with Triangle Building Supplies and Lumber Company, which he then sold in the early 1990s. He went on to start First Capital Realty, Inc., which he is still president of today.
Harvey joined PLM’s board of directors in 1987. During his time, Harvey served on PLM’s Executive Committee, Executive Compensation, and Investment Committees. Harvey’s strong leadership has played a critical role in the growth of PLM since the 1980s. In addition to his work with PLM, Harvey is dedicated to charitable giving, supporting the University of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts General Hospital and heading the Harvey and Barbara Kroiz Family Foundation, which provides philanthropic and volunteerism grants.
James Jolinger is an equity portfolio manager, client service professional and research director with 25 years of experience exceeding benchmarks at major asset management firms. He is currently managing director at Beach Investment Counsel, where he manages assets for families, individuals and foundations. James is also an active member of the Philadelphia community and was recently named the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. He received his MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Vassar College. PLM is excited to add on a professional with such strong financial acumen to our board of directors.
Andrew Winn is a partner at Centura Capital, LLC, and boasts 17 years of experience in real estate, investment management and financial services. In his last role, he was principal at Argosy Real Estate, where he built relationships with new operating partners and identified new investment opportunities. Andrew earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Indiana University, and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Andrew’s keen eye for seeking and assessing investment opportunities will play a key role as PLM seeks to find growth opportunities.
PLM would like to offer a sincere thanks to Harvey for his years of service to our organization. Today, we are proud to celebrate his career, as well as the addition of two new board members who will play a significant part as PLM continues to grow as a valued leader in the insurance and wood industries.
